Data controller

The website homo-artifex.eu is published by Denis Ponté and the Association Place-Neuve, in Geneva (Switzerland).

Data collected

The Homo artifex website was designed to collect the strict minimum. No account, no registration form, no user database is operated on the site.

Email address (direct contact)

If you write to tact@homo-artifex.eu, your message and the information it contains (name, address, contact details) are processed by the controller's email system, solely to reply to your request.

Analytics

The website integrates Google Tag Manager (ID: GTM-PK3FTH7) which may load Google Analytics 4. This service is disabled by default: it only loads after your explicit consent, via the cookie banner.

When consented, it collects anonymised traffic data (page views, traffic source, country, device type, session duration) for statistical purposes only. No data is resold or used for advertising purposes.

Server logs

Like any website, the host keeps technical logs (IP address, date, requested URL, user agent) for a period limited to 30 days, for security and diagnostic purposes. These logs are not used for marketing purposes.

Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to your messages — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and performance of a pre-contractual request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Analytics — legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Art. 31 nFADP).
• Website security — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; Art. 31 nFADP).

Retention period

• Received messages — 3 years from the last exchange, then deleted.
• Server logs — rolling 30 days.
• Consent choice — 12 months, then re-solicited.
• Analytics data — 14 months maximum (Google Analytics 4 setting).

Recipients and processors

• Hosting provider — [Hosting name] — file storage.
• Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — analytics (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4), only after consent.
• Email service of the controller — email processing.

No data is sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

Transfers outside the EU / Switzerland

Google Ireland Ltd. may transfer certain data to the United States in the context of Google Analytics 4. This transfer is based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. No transfer takes place if you have not consented to analytics.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Access to the administration and the server is restricted and password-protected. No banking data is collected on the site.

This policy may be updated to reflect technical or legal changes. The last update date is shown at the top of the page.
