The book extends the film and the exhibition. It brings together photographs by Denis Ponté and texts by Serge Desarnaulds, and lets us see differently the faces and places crossed by the five men.

A book in landscape format, conceived as a story: that of an unknown figure we believe to be distant, who reveals himself, page after page, as a part of ourselves.

Printed with care, it alternates full-page photographs and textual sequences, creating a reading rhythm that leaves ample room for silence and the gaze.
